Riveting… I could not put the book down and wanted more! This great adventure included details not encountered in American and West European novels. Hancock’s portrayal of the daring and sometimes downright scary tale of Jewel Cardwell, who finds herself in a world unfamiliar to her, takes one to the mysterious setting of south Sub-Saharan Africa.
